Space Hippie | Nike Made Shoes They're Happily Calling 'Trash'

Nike is always trying to solve a problem. I think it was former innovative exec Drieke Leenknegt who explained it recently on the Business of Hype podcast. It’s what separates them from your favorite luxury fashion brand. While most creatives in fashion are looking to make things that look cool and gorgeous, sometimes even at the expense of physical comfort, Nike is always trying to help its wearers literally feel and perform better. Whether that’s in the steps you take during your leisurely commute to work or the strides you’re taking on the last leg of a marathon.

Now they’re taking the world on and have made shoes out of what used to be factory scraps. Watch the clip above to learn more. I love these and the goal behind them.
